The Brunelle Method

Colon Hydrotherapy is one of the fastest ways to detox your system, giving you an instant feeling of wellbeing whilst improving overall health.

Inner Wellbeing uses a specialised method of colon hydrotherapy known as the Brunelle Method. This method of colonic irrigation is a gravity fed, closed system which has unique features as it works on the principle of only a small amount of water being inserted into the colon and then pulsated (This stimulates the natural peristaltic action of the bowel) to defecate naturally. So NO pressure is used.

To cleanse the colon using the Brunelle Method, we utilise a pulsing action, which works as an internal massage for the colon, to enable it to reshape and strengthen, making it more efficient.

Majella differs from other therapists in this area, She allows 1.5 hours with her clients to educate, suggest changes/alternatives, support and work with them from exactly where they are at.  She is an extremely passionate therapist with huge life experience. How many sessions do you need?

This always will vary with the individual, depending on goals, current lifestyle and intestinal state. Experience has shown positive changes with each treatment but we would recommend doing 4 treatments preferably one week apart if possible to experience all around positive health changes in the body.

Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

What to expect

Treatment takes place inside an inflatable chamber. When the chamber inflates, the pressure increases. During this time, you may experience a sensation in your ears; similar to that of when you ascend and descend in a plane. Your body will naturally pressurise in the chamber, however, some clients do need to equalise their ears, as you might do when travelling on a plane.

Once your body has pressurised, your body will naturally relax and de-stress, so you can close your eyes, read a book or meditate throughout your treatment session.

What to wear

For comfort wear lose-fitting clothing. There is room to move inside the chamber, so wear something which moves easily in case you want to change positions without getting tangled in your clothing.

Pre-Sauna

If you are eating before a treatment, make sure you stick with light foods only, nothing heavy and drink plenty of water as you will be sweating out a lot of water throughout the sauna experience.

What to wear:
  • Bathing suit if you prefer not to be naked in the sauna – fresh towels will be provided to all clients, so you can be naked and wrapped in a towel throughout treatment if preferred. Otherwise, you can also relax in the sauna in your underwear.
  • Try to refrain from wearing any body oils or lotions to the skin prior to entering the sauna to keep pores open and unblocked.
  • Make sure to bring a book with you, which is safe to take into the infrared sauna with you, so you can read and relax during treatment.
  • Our sauna does come with bluetooth to play your own music and a TV to watch Netflix’s on during your treatment.
Post-Sauna

Drink plenty of water after a sauna treatment and if you are eating right after a treatment, make sure you are eating something very light. If possible avoid showering or make up application for 2 hours.

Solo Sauna

The solo sauna is ideal for anyone who wants a deep yet comfortable sweat session. The solo system delivers 360⁰ surround far infrared heat, while you lay down and relax. To make your experience more enjoyable, Inner Wellbeing provides you with an Ipad so you can enjoy your favourite show on Netflix or listen to some soft music
